THE ANSWERS PEOPLE WANT FIRST

Clear, general guidance at a glance. Your exact plan is confirmed only after an individual assessment.

HOW LONG?Often one full day

Most sessions take several hours. The graft plan and technique determine the exact duration.

ANAESTHESIAUsually local

Patients are generally awake. Temporary aching, tightness or swelling can occur afterwards.

FIRST GROWTHAround months 3–4

Temporary shedding can happen first; early new hairs often appear gradually.

VISIBLE CHANGEOften around month 6

Density and texture continue to develop, at different speeds for each person.

MATURATION10–18 months

The final timeline varies by treated area, biology and aftercare.

SERVICE SCOPEAppointment only

Flights, hotel and airport transfers are not part of the service.

VISUAL GUIDE TO PERSONAL PLANNING

See what careful
planning considers.

Three medical visualizations explain the decisions behind a natural-looking plan: the front, the donor area and the direction of each follicular unit.

01
Hairline design

Facial proportions, age and the long-term pattern of hair loss shape the plan.

Donor analysis

Density, distribution and safe capacity are assessed before graft numbers.

03
Direction & spacing

Natural angle, direction and irregular spacing matter as much as density.

Representative medical visualizations — not actual patients and not a promise of results.

YOUR RESTORATION JOURNEY

one stage at a time.

Move through the timeline to see what each phase is designed to achieve. The visualization explains the process; it does not predict a personal medical result.

MSD / 01DESIGNED AROUND THE PERSON

A CONSIDERED APPROACH

Natural direction starts with careful planning.

The objective is not maximum numbers. It is a plan that considers donor capacity, facial proportions, hair direction and the long-term pattern of hair loss.

01

Donor preservation

A finite resource, assessed and planned with restraint.

02

Natural hairline

Age-aware design shaped around facial proportions.

03

Clear aftercare

Practical guidance from the first wash through follow-up.

FOCUSED CARE

A responsible plan begins by understanding the person—not by promising a number.

Every evaluation starts with the donor area, the progression of hair loss and a realistic conversation about what can be achieved. The goal is a result that belongs to the face, not to a template.

BEFORE YOU BOOK

Every important question,
answered clearly.

Search the questions people most often ask about procedure day, recovery, growth, risks and planning.

12 questions
01How long does a hair transplant take?

Most sessions take several hours and commonly occupy most of one day. The exact time depends on the number of grafts, the selected technique and the personal plan.

02Will I be awake, and is the procedure painful?

Hair transplantation is commonly performed with local anaesthesia, so patients are usually awake. Pressure may be felt; temporary pain, aching, tightness and swelling can occur after the procedure.

03Do I stay overnight?

Hair transplantation is usually an outpatient procedure. Whether you can leave the same day and the timing of your first check are confirmed in your personal schedule.

04Is shedding after the procedure normal?

The transplanted hairs often shed during the first weeks while the follicles enter a new growth cycle. This does not by itself mean that the grafts have failed.

05When does new hair start to grow?

Early new growth often becomes visible around months 3–4. It may begin fine and uneven before becoming thicker over time.

06When will I see the final result?

A visible change often develops around month 6, while maturation can continue for roughly 10–18 months. Every patient follows an individual timeline.

07When can I return to work?

Some people feel ready for light work after several days, but redness, swelling or small crusts may remain visible for 1–2 weeks. Physical work may require more time.

08When can I wash my hair or exercise?

Washing and activity instructions are personalised. The grafts require special care during the first two weeks. Follow only the schedule given by the clinical team.

09What is the difference between FUE and DHI?

These terms describe different parts or approaches within follicular hair transplantation. One label is not automatically better for everyone; individual planning matters more.

10How many grafts will I need?

A responsible estimate requires review of the donor area, recipient area, hair calibre, density and future hair-loss pattern. A generic calculator alone cannot confirm a number.

11Is a hair transplant scarless or risk-free?

No surgical technique is completely scarless or risk-free. Possible issues include swelling, temporary numbness, bleeding, infection, scarring and poor graft growth.

12Is travel, hotel or airport transfer included?

No. This is an appointment-based clinical service, not a full travel package. You arrange flights, accommodation and transfers independently.
